Football has always played an important role in Amanda Maslin-Barr’s life. In 2001, she made her international debut as a striker and went on to score 10 goals in 37 appearances for the England women’s national football team.
Throughout her illustrious career, she spearheaded England’s attack during the 2005 UEFA Women’s championship and played at the domestic level for clubs such as Charlton, Everton, Doncaster Belles, and Birmingham.
Though her time as a player has come to an end, you can still find Maslin-Barr on the pitch. But, this time around she’s a coach and the founder and director of Raise The Barr (RTB) Development, a girl’s football development program in the North West of England.
RTB Development serves as the fuel for Amanda’s passion to help young players develop their skills while advancing the girl’s/women’s game forward through her program.
Recently, our company’s ability to problem solve beyond providing creative colour solutions came to light. In this case, we identified a problem – the girls were without waterproof coats so we provided a solution.
Through our sponsorship, we supplied nearly 50 girls in the program with waterproof coats that are now part of their kits.
“RTB base themselves on professionalism and quality so it is important that when we are looking for sponsors that they mirror this,” said Maslin-Barr. “I certainly feel that we have done that with Colour Synthesis Solutions. We would like to thank Jonathan and Sean for all they have done to help all our teams. None of our success is possible without their help.”
